A Time to Dance is the longtime vision and goal of its owner, Linda Cavella. Linda has been a studio owner for 43 years and has trained throughout the United States. As a professional choreographer, she has worked with many productions
throughout NE Ohio and the South.
Excellence in dance training and instilling love for dance is our reason for being. The gift of dance is not only a blessing to the dancer, but to those who watch them dance, as well.
At A Time to Dance, we believe that all who wish to dance
and to train should be encouraged.
Classes are developed with attention to age appropriate style and technique and delivered with dignity.

All classes offered at A Time to Dance are geared to the level and age of students and their experience.
Our classes are taught by instructors who love what they are doing and are well qualified in their technique.
We also offer classes for those with disabilities and special needs. These classes are run like a typical dance class with each student's special needs being taken into consideration, as far as their
curriculum and pace of delivery are concerned.

Ballet is a beautiful form of dance in which the technique teaches proper body alignment and carriage, with which we dance with poise and grace.
All levels of ballet are taught from the beginning creative movement of the 3 & 4 year old student, all the way through the beginning, intermediate and advanced level students.
This and all dance forms enhance every day appearance, even if you are not planning to be a professional dancer.
Ballroom forms taught are
Salsa, Swing, Waltz, Tango and Fox Trot.
Done to today's music sound, hip hop is fun to dance and interesting to watch.
All ages enjoy this form of dance.
Irish Step-Dance is offered at three levels -
beginning, intermediate and advanced soft-shoe.
Hard shoe technique is introduced when the student
has accomplished the technique for the mid-intermediate level.
Jazz dance is a very energetic, upbeat style of dance seen in theatre and musicals.
Many of the jazz techniques have found their way into the new HIP HOP forms with a new flair to them.
This introductory class provides instruction
on beginning space, levels, angles, and falls. Improv also
introduced. Must be 9 years old.
Intermediate and advanced levels build on the above
technique and introduce styles of different choreographers.
Tap is a very rhythmic form of dance. We teach the Broadway style tap,as well as the rhythm techniques. Tap develops balance and coordination and is good for all ages.
All instructors at the studio are trained to follow the standards of technique set forth by the studio. They are
all given the artistic freedom to present their own styles and ideas within those standards.
Upon registration, directors and/or teachers like to meet parents and prospective students in order to get to
know them before going into the classroom. This helps us to assess personalities, expectations and goals.
Our Class Peers participate in classes to be an example for the students, as well as help
the instructors with attendance and organization.
